Color out of space

The Gardner family has changed life in the city to the countryside after inheriting a rural family farm located near Arkham, Massachusetts. The fighter artist Nathan (Nicholas Cage) tries to start working in gardening but does not achieve the desired results. But that changes one night when a small meteor crashes in the yard. The bright purple orb soon withers in dust, but first leaves the local water supply infected. While the effect on crops is abundant, the alien presence soon begins to have a negative effect on the Gardner family.

'Color Out of Space' is a science fiction thriller written and directed by Richard Stanley ('Hardware', 'Dust Devil'), based on the story 'The Color Out of Space', by H.P. Lovecraft It stars Nicolas Cage ('Mandy', 'Kick-Ass: Ready to Crush', 'The Lord of War', 'Adaptation (The Orchid Thief)', 'Wild Heart', 'Arizona Baby' ... ), Q'orianka Kilcher ('The new world', 'Children of anarchy', 'The Killing' ...), Madeleine Arthur ('To all the boys I fell in love with'), Joely Richardson ('Sparrow red ') and Tommy Chong (' Those wonderful 70 '). It is the first feature film directed by Richard Stanley since his dismissal from the movie 'The Island of Dr. Moreau' (1996), finally directed by John Frankenheimer.
