Coeurs vaillants

'Corazones valientes' is a film produced by Mona Achache, and written by her with Anne Berest, Jean Cottin, Christophe Offenstein and Valérie Zenatti. Set in the summer of 1942, during the Second World War, six Jewish children seek refuge. They find shelter where they least expect it, in the Château de Chambord. The hidden works of art from the Louvre are kept there. Despite the danger they run and the risk they take, unaware that death stalks them, these brave-hearted young men learn to savour every moment of the present.

The cast includes Swann Arlaud, Franck Beckmann, Patrick D'Assumçao, Lila-Rose Gilberti, Luka Haggège, Anne-Lise Heimburger, Félix Nicolas, Ferdinand Redouloux, Leo Riehl, Maé Roudet Rubens and Asia Suissa-Fuller.

Benoit Rault is in charge of the film's music, and Isarr Eiriksson is in charge of photography.

The film is produced by Les Films Du Cap, Orson Films, Scope Pictures, Canal+, Ciné+, Cinécap 4, SofiTVCiné 8, Musinvest, Domaine National de Chambord, La Procirep-Angoa and Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC).

The film will be distributed in France by Bac Films.

'Corazones valientes' will be released in Spanish cinemas on 30 September 2022 and in France on 11 May 2022, although it has already been released on 1 October 2021 at the Screen International Film Festival.
