Cocaine Bear

'Cocaine Bear' is inspired by the true story of the plane crash that in 1985 caused a drug dealer to lose the cocaine he was carrying and which would end up being ingested by a black bear. Told in a comedic tone, the film is set in a Georgia forest and follows a diverse group of police officers, criminals, tourists and teenagers who will meet the dangerous 500-pound animal after having swallowed a huge amount of drugs, which it has thrown him into a destructive frenzy in search of more dust. And a lot of blood.

The film stars Keri Russell ('The Americans'), O'Shea Jackson Jr ('Straight Outta Compton'), Christian Convery-Jennings ('Sweet Tooth'), Alden Ehrenreich ('Solo: A Star Wars Story '), Jesse Tyler Ferguson ('Modern Family'), Brooklynn Prince ('The Florida Project'), Isiah Whitlock Jr. ('BlacKkKlansman'), Kristofer Hivju ('Game of Thrones'), Hannah Hoekstra ('Charlie's Angels' 2019) and Aaron Holliday ('Sharp Objects'), along with Emmy winner Margo Martindale ('The Americans') and the late Ray Liotta in what is his last role.

Directed by Elizabeth Banks ('Charlie's Angels', 'Pitch Perfect') from a script by Jimmy Warden ('The Babysitter: Killer Queen'), 'Cocaine Bear' is produced by Banks, along with Oscar winners Phil Lord and Christopher Miller ('Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse', 'The Mitchells Against the Machines') and Max Handelman ('Pitch Perfect'), among others.
