Clifford the Big Red Dog

A magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) gives Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp), a small red pet. The next morning, the teenager gets a big surprise when she finds a giant 10-foot dog in her apartment. And it turns out that the hound grows according to the love it receives from its owner. The film, directed by Walt Becker ('Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip', 'Old Dogs', 'Wild Hogs'), is based on the Scholastic series 'Clifford the Big Red Dog' by writer Norman Bridwell.

'Clifford, the Big Red Dog' features a deluxe cast that is headed by Darby Camp ('The Christmas Chronicles', 'The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two'). The cast includes Jack Whitehall, Izaac Wang, John Cleese, Sienna Guillory, Kenan Thompson, Rosie Perez, Russell Wong, Russell Peters, Tony Hale, David Alan Grier, Horatio Sanz, Paul Rodriguez, Keith Ewell, Bear Allen Blaine, Tovah Feldshuh, Jessica Keenan Wynn, Ty Jones, Siobhan Fallon, Mia Ronn and Madison Smith, Madison Morris.

About the movie, media such as The Hollywood Reporter have expressed that "the film clears, (...), its most obvious hurdle ? namely, the fact that it's one thing for Clifford to be as red as a fire engine and as tall as a house in brightly illustrated children's books, but another for him to look that way in live action".
