'City Life Is Not for Me' is based on the play of the same name written by Fernando Lázaro Carreter, which premiered in 1962. Directed by Pedro Lazaga, the movie tells the story of Agustín Valverde (Paco Martínez Soria), an old man who never has left his village, Calaciervia, near Zaragoza. One day, he decides to visit his son, Agustín hijo (Eduardo Fajardo), who has become a renowned doctor in Madrid, where he lives with his wife Luciana (Doris Coll) and his daughter Sara (Cristina Galbó). In the capital, Agustín discovers the lifestyle of his family, far from the customs and values ??he instilled in his son as a child.
