The film is based on the Ricardo Cucamonga comic strip that was created in 2004. The protagonist of the story is Cindy, who plays a "good girl" who belongs to San Pedro Garza García, the most exclusive area of ??Monterrey, the Mexican city . Cindy, played by Cassanda Sánchez Navarro, is well known in her city for her presence on social networks, her books and for the fame of her own website, cindylaregia.com. However, a personal event goes viral: the protagonist will not want to marry her boyfriend, which causes her to leave her hometown and everyone who lives in it, and moves to the big and unknown Mexico City.
