Chimera

Science fiction film that follows a brilliant but somewhat disturbed scientist named Quint who dreams of a world in which there is no aging, injury or illness or even death. Such is his utopian obsession that takes him to the edge of madness. Therefore, he decides to freeze his children in an attempt to find a cure for the genetic disease they both suffer from. In this time trial fight for life, he must decode the DNA of the immortal jellyfish Turritopsis.

But for his experiment to go well, he needs human embryonic stem cells, which leads him to relate to Masterson, a figure whose motives are strange, unleashing chaos.

Directed by Maurice Haeems, features Henry Ian Cusick, Kathleen Quinlan, Erika Ervin, Jenna Harrison, Karishma Ahluwalia and Jennifer Gjulameti, among others for the cast.
