Chef

'Chef' is the story of Roshan Kalra (Saif Ali Khan), a famous Michelin-starred chef from an Indian restaurant, called Galli, in New York. In a desperate attempt to continually satisfy his customers and live up to his fame, Roshan loses his spark and, with him, his personal and professional life. The film begins with the circumstances that lead Roshan to India: meeting his 11-year-old son, Armaan, and his wife, Radha Menon. Things turn dramatically when Roshan is forced to reconsider his life, taking him to premiere a food truck with the name of 'Raasta Café'. With the road as road, Roshan returns to his roots to rekindle his passion for cooking and his enthusiasm for life, family and love.

'Chef' groups an exploration tour through Indian cities, a variety of foods and different cultures, just as Roshan and Armaan travel across the country in the food truck. As they both remember old memories on their journey from Kochi to Goa and then to Delhi, they create many new ones, strengthening their bond. In a second stage of his life, Roshan grows to realize that re-prioritizing what is important in his life is the key to being happy.
