Charco, Canciones del Río de la Plata

The Río de la Plata, place where Argentina and Uruguay meet, is also where different music stiles meet, like rock, candombe, murga, cumbia and milonga. This union has cause the creation of a new and unique musical genre, and in this movie from director Julián Chalde, Pablo Dacal, the protagonist of this story, will show us in greater depth the great musical variety of this area of Argentina and Uruguay, with live performances realized specially for this film, and new versions of classic songs, performed by some Argentinian and Uruguayan artists like Gustavo Santaolalla, Jorge Drexler or Fito Páez, along with other less known artists, that will still give us a look into the music of Río de la Plata.
