Most of the Sydney Olympic village exteriors were shot in Lisbon, Portugal. For the steering wheel on the mini-bus to be on the right side (like in Australia), the image was flopped. But whatever writing would appear on screen (such as "Sydney 2000" on the side of the bus) had to be printed in reverse.
