The 'Champions' sequel presents us its protagonists this time with a new rookie coach with whom, by mistake, they enroll in an athletics competition. After their endeavour with basketball, athletics come with a whole new set of exigences that, on top of the surprising capability of the new coach to attract all kinds of disasters, will make everything go the opposite way.

Javier Fesser, winner of seven Goya prizes and Oscar nominated, comes back directing with a script written by him alongside David Marqués (co-writer of the first installment) and Athenea Mata. The cast includes again Jesús Vidal (winner of the Goya as Best Revelation Actor for 'Champios'), Gloria Ramos, Sergio Olmos, Jesús Lago Solís, José de Luna, Fran Fuentes, Alberto Nieto, Roberto Chinchilla and Stefan López. This time is new in the cast Brianeitor, content creator, TikTok, Twitch and Youtube star, who's bringing visibility to the film with the degenerative muscular atrophy he lives with.

'Champions' came close to 30 millions euros in the Spanish box-office and received no less than 11 nominations in the Goya Awards, winning three of them for Best Film, Best Original Song and Best Revelation Actor. It also won two José María Forqué awards and one Feroz award.
