Campeones

The next project by the filmmaker Lourdes Deschamps ('Passionate Pancho Villa'), who is also responsible for signing its script, is called 'Campeones'. The film addresses the success of the Mexican soccer team under 17 on October 2nd, 2005, by winning the World Cup for the country, whose game was held in Lima, the capital of Peru.

The film, which will hit theaters in Mexico next May 18th, 2018, has among its cast with the actors Alejandro Speitzer, Michael Ronda, Benny Emmanuel, Fernando Becerril, Nubia Martí, Héctor Holten and Harold Azuara, who will be the starring the famous team to let the audience know how they prepared to overcome their obstacles as a team and, finally, win the World Cup.
