Camino de la suerte

This film delves into themes related to love, old age and deconstruction. Its director Jorge Alonso tells the story of Joaquín, a man who decides to leave his city and return to live in the small town where he was born after his wife dies of a long illness. Now, accompanied by complete loneliness, Joaquín only has to wait for death to come for him.

However, his best friend in town, Poli, refuses to abandon his companion to his fate and writes him a list of all the single women in town to arrange a date with each of them to see if anything comes of it. Faced with Joaquín's refusal, who takes his friend for a madman, Poli sets a trap for him and in this, the widower will learn that love has no wrinkles.

Tito Valverde shares the leading role with his partner of more than thirty years, María Jesús Sirvent, in his great debut on the big screen. 'Camino de la suerte' is produced by Lyo Media, La Nueva Tv and Fila 5 Producciones in collaboration with SkyShowtime, with distribution by Begin Again Films. The film will be released on October 20.

As for its director, Jorge Alonso was born in Madrid in 1978. His prominent and extensive career has helped him establish himself as a creator, screenwriter and director of TV fiction series such as 'La Pecera de Eva' or 'Agitación +IVA'.
