After the success of 'Death of a Cyclist', Juan Antonio Bardem directed 'High Street' a snapshot of the Spain in the 50's provinces in the postwar period. In a small town where customs and traditions are antiquated prevailing lives Isabel, a woman of 35 years-old who has not yet married.
