Calamity Jane

Doris Day becomes in Calamity Jane, a real desperado West. Jane is a tough woman, who rides inhospitable desert west and she has an incredible skill with the gun. Quick and lethal, many people fears for her fame. After much walking, Jane comes to town of Deadwood, in the state of South Dakota. There are she is well received by Will Bill Hickok and the rest of the people. Excited, she tells of her adventures and fightings against Native Americans. In the same evening when Jane arrives, the public attending the Golden Garter saloon is completely disappointed. The reason for such anger has been that instead of coming to play a beautiful and renowned actress from New York, it has appeared an artist named Francis Fryer. Whereupon, Jane decides to help the common people and therefore, she decides to go find Adelaid Adman, a young star of Chicago that is very popular and she can entertain the people of Deadwood.
