Burden

Andrew Heckler's first film, 'Burden' is based on the real story of Mike Burden, a man who left Ku Klux Klan with the help of his partner and an Afroamerican reverend. Garrett Hedlund plays this man, the son of one of the racist organization's leaders, who opened a store and museum of Ku Klux Klan in South Carolina in the 90s. His girlfriend, played by Andrea Riseborough, and a reverend, played by Forest Whitaker, will help him let his conflictive past behind.
