Plot
'Broadway Danny Rose' is a comedy directed, written and stared by American filmmaker Woody Allen in 1984. This film tells the story of a character named Danny Rose, a hapless talent manager who ends up involved with the city's mob because he's traying to help one of his best clients with her relationship with Tina Vitale, portrayed by Mia Farrow, one of the mob's women so they think he's part of this love triangle.
This comedy pays homage to the early stand-up comedies with a lot of gags and hilarious situations taken to the extreme and also with a lot of action and persecution scenes. This film, shot in black and white, emphasizes the homage to those films and also those great comedians such as Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. 'Broadway Danny Rose' premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 1984.
