Nolan Mack (Robin Williams) is a man who at first sight leads an ordinary and perfect life. The reality is that his life has materialized especially in working in the same bank for almost 26 years, so monotonous and very bored. Married to Joy (Kathy Baker), Nolan takes a perfect married life, with the intention of being distracted so as not to have to face reality. One day, Nolan will change his life dramatically when during a walk aimlessly through an unknown street, he meets a young man with many problems named Leo (Roberto Aguirre). Nolan will begin to break the restrictions with which he has lived all his life, setting a before and an after, understanding and discovering the person he really is.
