Bottoms

'Bottoms' is a R rated comedy by Emma Seligman about the life of two senior lesbian losers students in their last year of high school. The main characters decide to create a fight club to obtain the one and only goal of seducing the cheerleader team of their school to have sex before the graduation. This American comedy is starred by Ayo Edebiri and Rachel Sennott, who had previously worked with the director in the 2020 movie 'Shiva Baby'. The cast is completed with Ruby Cruz, Havana Rose Liu, Kaia Gerber, Nicholas Galitzine, Miles Fowler, Marshawn Lynch and Dagmara Dominiczyk, among others. It's written by Emma Seligman herself with one of the protagonist (Sennott) and its slogan is "A movie about empowering women (the hot ones).".

Emma Seligman was inspired by teenage cinema classics of the twenty first century such as 'Superbad' or 'American Pie', but she changed the roles. Heterosexual teenage boys are lesbian teenage girls in this movie. 'Bottoms' tells the story of PJ (Sennott) and Josie (Edebiri), two friends who, after having trouble with the football team of their school, create a fight club to fulfill their dream of seducing cheerleaders. The LGBTIQ+ theme is the main one in this R rated comedy that turns the horny teenage boys of the North American teenager films into girls that want to lose their virginities with hot cheerleaders before their graduation.
