Botero

The poetic chronicle of the life and work of the Colombian painter, sculptor and draftsman Fernando Botero, forerunner of what some people have baptized as "boterismo", due to his unique and unmistakable work style, within figurative art. This documentary aims to be the tribute to the artist's entire career after his extensive legacy. From the privacy of his studio, over the last few years, it shows the funny and human side of the 86-year-old painter, as a reference for plastic arts in Latin America. During the 80 minutes, 305 works of Botero are shown, which cover the whole of his career since its inception, when it is not about its aesthetics, until the present day in which its large format versions are visible by the most important cities from all over the world.
