Born to Be Blue

Robert Budreau writes and directs this biopic about legendary jazz trumpeter Chet Baker, during the 60's. Film focuses on the figure of Baker, one of his most important moments of his personal and professional life. Trumpeter starts shooting a film where the protagonist is he and what counts in the film is his own life. Baker 's heart will be occupied by a young actress, shooting companion, named Jane. Love will lose Baker's head and his shady past back to the present to haunt him and not let to go ahead. All these problems, make the musician feel that he can never recompose, feeling somehow that he has lost his talent. Jane come to challenge Baker to return to music , which he accepted against all odds.
