Plot
Directed by Nick Read y Mark Franchetti and the producers of 'Man on Wire' and 'Searching for Sugar Man'. The documentary tells what happened for a year at the famous Bolshoi Ballet Theatre. In 2013-2014 occurred extremely important events for the company: Sergei Filin, the director of the ballet, recovered after suffering an attack with acid while the dancer Pavel Dmitrichenko suffered an arrest for this crime. It is said that such events had taken place because Filin did not give it to the couple of Dmitrichenko a main role in a ballet. These are some of the intrigue and dark episodes that hide the backstage of the famous company. A film that aims to delve behind the scenes of dance in a unique way, where it's possible to see the high level of competition and how ambitions can cause enmity and mistrust. Each involved in the case will their version of events, leaving an intriguing conclusion.
