Bobby Robson: More Than A Manager

The documentary about the figure of manager Bobby Robson will be released in cinemas next June 1st. The film, co-directed by Gabriel Clarke and Torquil Jones and also scripted by Gabriel Clarke, introduces us to the life of this man. Bobby Robson, after playing as a soccer player for 18 seasons, moved into the field of training. After winning different national titles in England with Ipswich Town, he achieved his first international success in 1980-81 by winning the UEFA Cup against AZ Alkmaar (Netherlands). He also coached other European teams such as Dutch PSV Eindhoven, Porto from Portugal and FC Barcelona. With this last one, with whom he had the motto "More than a team" (in which the name of the film is inspired) he managed to obtain in the 1996-1997 season, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. A figure that stood out both in the personal and professional sphere.
