Blitz

George (Elliott Heffernan) is a nine-year-old boy from London who happily lives with his mother, Rita (Saoirse Ronan). However, with the arrival of the Nazis in the United Kingdom during World War II, Rita decides to send her son to the countryside to seek a better future for him. Despite this, the little boy is willing to do whatever it takes to return home and see Rita once again. Meanwhile, the mother will do the same and will begin a search mission alongside other families torn apart by the war to find George.

During their journey, both will witness the atrocities of war, such as bombs, falling planes, fire, destroyed houses, and other examples. Despite this, they will also see the more hidden side of it: the bond between people who decide to help each other when they find themselves in a disadvantaged situation. Will the two protagonists manage to reunite after experiencing so many adventures?

Steve McQueen, director of '12 Years a Slave', directs and writes his new film, released directly on Apple TV. Figures such as Harris Dickinson, Benjamin Clémentine, Kathy Burke, Paul Weller, Stephen Graham, and John Mackay complete the cast of this title. Composers Nicholas Britell and Taura Stinson provide the soundtrack for it.
