Black Rain

Based on the novel by Masuji Ibuse with the same name, Shohei Imamura directs 'Black Rain', the story of Takamaro Yasuko (Yoshiko Tanaka), a Japanese girl whose life changes on August 6, 1945. Ten years after the explosion of the Hiroshima bomb, his uncles are unable to marry her, and they have to face rumors, disease and the victims' bitter loneliness.
