Plot
Thirteen year old Alice is an amputee who lives with her father, Adam in their house in the woods. It is revealed that Alice lost her arm in a car crash that claimed her mother's life and that Alice very much blames her father for the accident.
Alice spends her time in the house in the company of 'Mom' a dog with whom she is able to communicate due to a translation collar that Mom wears. One day, when out in the forrest, Alice and Mom discover a mysterious cube, which they soon discover has the power to change the past.
In the meantime, Adam manages to stumble across abandoned siblings Erika and Paul in the forrest, and Alice slowly but surely becomes increasingly wary of the visitors.
To complicate matters further, Alice begins receiving handwritten messages from her future self.
