Black Harvest

'Black Harvest' is a Luxembourgian documentary directed by Sean Clark y Jean-Louis Schuller. It was shot in the States of Montana and North Dakota. 'Black Harvest' tell the lives of two residents from North Dakota, Doug Wenner and John Heiser, and how they must redirect their lives as the new economic innovations has changed the working system. New extraction techniques are used to collect oil from the ground and North Dakota is considered one of the greatest US oil well. These changes have caused drastic changes in the lives of their residents. Heiser and Wenner are the witnesses with their traditional point of view about work and how the opportunities have changed due to the industrialization of this privileged area, with a increasing population seeking for a better life thanks to this black gold.
