Bird on a Wire

Tony Palmer directs this documentary about one of the most important figures in the world of music: Leonard Cohen. The project was commissioned to director in 1971 by the manager of the artist. The intention was to move the most natural and true to viewers about what happened between racks reality. Tony Palmer shot how the singer's European tour, the only condition that had to abide did not have restrictions, giving him the ability to shoot whatever he wanted. With 'Bird on a Wire' moved the images to a moving portrait of Leonard Cohen in depth in his professional and musical life, and to contemplate a more intimate part personally. The film was not accepted by Leonard Cohen and his manager, although with time, 'Bird on a Wire ' has become a cult film music documentary.
