Plot
Marcia Tambutti Allende directs and writes this documentary about his grandfather, known surgeon and Chilean socialist politician, Salvador Allende. The documentary follows the image of Allende as the first democratically-elected socialist president on September 11, 1973, but also a more personal perspective as grandfather and father. You can see the consequences of a military coup that not only changed the situation, but also the reality of the family Allende and the Chilean government. Marcia Tambutti Allende explains how was the exile and how they lived the years of the dictatorship in Chile for 17 years. A personal journey that allows us to know the figure of Salvador Allende away from political socialist icon that has and see the complexity of emotions of this man.
