Beyond My Grandfather Allende

Marcia Tambutti Allende directs and writes this documentary about his grandfather, known surgeon and Chilean socialist politician, Salvador Allende. The documentary follows the image of Allende as the first democratically-elected socialist president on September 11, 1973, but also a more personal perspective as grandfather and father. Marcia Tambutti Allende explains how was the exile and how they lived the years of the dictatorship in Chile for 17 years.
