Between Two Dawns

After a worker is seriously injured in Kadir's family business, he is forced to make a moral decision that will impact his dreams, his family and the life of the injured worker's wife.

The film is directed and written by Selman Nacar and it is the first film of his career. The cast is headed by Mücahit Koçak, Nezaket Erden, Burcu Gölgedar, Ünal Silver, Cihat Suvarioglu, Banu Fotocan, Mustafa Sönmez and Bedir Bedir, among others.

It is a co-production between Turkey, France, Hungary and Romania. The production companies responsible for the film are Arizona Films Productions, Libra Film, Nephilim Productions, Kuyu Film, Karma Film, Fol Film, and TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation).

'Between Two Dawns' has won the WIP (work in progress) industry award at the San Sebastian International Film Festival and was nominated in the New Directors section of the same festival. It also won Best Film at the Turin Film Festival and three other awards at both the Malaysia Film Festival (two Best Director awards in different sections and the Special Jury Award) and the Antalya Golden Orange Festival (Cahide Sonku Award, Special Jury Award and Best Supporting Actor award). He also won Best Actor and Best Debut Film at the Bosphorus Film Festival (Turkey).
