Berberian Sound Studio

During the seventies there was a sleaziest post-production sound studio in which the most disturbing and distressing Italian films were edited. The 'Berberian Sound Studio' became known among other things for being the cheapest in the country. Gilderoy, a sound engineer travels from the UK where he is resident to the studio to orchestrate the mix of the latest film from director Santini, the master of terror. He is responsible of the special effects, using various utensils and vegetables to make the fake sounds, but gradually becomes involved in a spiral of mystery in which he must put up with the maniacs actors appearing in Santini's film. The film is directed by Peter Strickland and stars Toby Jones.
