Belzebuth

Emilio Portes out of his comfort zone to tells in 'Belzebuth' a history of exorcisms and demons. In an attempt to reflect the style of Mexican life, the director delves into the terror, and away from the comedy, fast camera and black humor that characterizes him. The film is focused on a priest who is excommunicated by the Vatican to combat the increase in cases of possessions that began in 2010. The Vatican ordered investigations to be made by priests with expertise in demonology. The film features performances by Joaquin Cosio ('Quantum of Solace'), Tobin Bell ('Saw'), Tate Ellington 'Straight Outta Compton') and Giovanna Zacarías ('The Legend of Zorro') and has been recorded in Spanish and English and was shot in Baja California.
