The filmmaker, Rachid Bouchareb, wanted to direct a comedy, a 'buddy movie' for years.

The director was inspired by '48 Hrs.' and 'Another 48 Hrs.', 'buddy movie' cult saga from the Eighties.

Filming began in Paris in March 2017. Then they filmed in Miami, Los Angeles and Bogota (Colombia).
