Beautiful Girls

'Beautiful Girls' is a drama comedy directed by Ted Demme. The film tells the story of Willie Conway (Timothy Hutton), a jazz pianist who returns to his hometown to attend a reunion with his former high school classmates to flee his routine life in New York. In the small town of Knights Ridge (Massachusetts), the protagonist crosses paths with his old friends and loves whose lives have taken very different directions. Things haven't changed much in the small town, although he realises that, like him, everyone has to deal with the uncertainties and obstacles that life has put them in the way. The meeting offers friends an opportunity to move forward and share their views on life and relationships.
