Beautiful Boy

'Beautiful Boy' is the English debut from the Belgian Director Felix Van Groeningen ('The Broken Circle Breakdown'), a cinematographic adaptation from the David Sheff's biography 'Beautiful Boy: A Father's Journey Through His Son's Addiction', which gives the name to the movie. The main cast is formed by Timothée Chalament ('Call Me By Your Name', 'Lady Bird') and Steve Carell ('The Office'), who play the roles of Nic, a methamphetamine drug addict teenager, and his dad David, whose relationship is affected by his son's behavior.

The film is produced by Big Indie Pictures and Plan B Entertainment, and will be distributed by Amazon Studios. The critics say it is possible for Chalamet to get a new Oscar nomination for his role in the film.
