Based on a True Story

Roman Polanski's new french thiller/drama tells the story of writer Delphine de Vigan (played by Emmanuelle Seigner) who after the success of her debut novel about her mother's story begins to receive a lot of letter of admirers. But not all of the feedback is possitive. In one of these letters some anonymous person blames her for the misfortune of her entire family. Suffering from depression and writer's block, Delphine will start a romantic relationship with a seductive, younger and mysterious woman who defines herself as a "ghost writer" (played by Eva Green) who seems to understands her more than anyone else.
