Barcelona 1714

'Barcelona 1714' is the new film by director Anna Bofarull and is inspired by the Siege of Barcelona that emerged in 1713. By the arrival of the year 1714, the city of Barcelona has been under siege for more than a year. In this context Agnès, a young woman who still lives with her parents, tries to survive day after day with all the means and inteligence possible. Despite their efforts to stay afloat in the middle of all that chaos that surround them, time is running out and the few resources they have are starting to be insufficient. It seems that the city will not be able to resist much longer, so Agnes must find a solution to save her life and the lives of the ones she loves the most before it is too late. It is actually a story about survival and human passions.
