Ballad From Tibet

'Ballad From Tibet' follows a group of kids that start an odyssey. Each one of them have a different reason, but they all want to sing on TV. Thupten is nearly blind. One of his eyes doesn't work and the other one only partially. Droma wants to show her grandmother that she is useful for more than just knitting. Sonam is blind and hates his job as a masseur. Kalsang is the youngest and he only wants to have fun. The group of friends starts its journey to the Shenzhen area with the help of a nomad family, some motorcyclists and a television producer. Their goal? Singing in television so everybody can see them.

'Ballad From Tibet' is directed by Zhang Wei and starred by Lobsang Turpten, Yeshi Choedon, Karma Sangmo, Pama Gumi, Sonam Wangdu, Hao Huang and Gawang Dolma.
