Awake: The Life of Yogananda

Documentary based on the life and work of Hindu yogi and guru Paramahansa Yogananda, author of the spiritual classic "Autobiography of a Yogi ', originally published in 1946 and which have sold millions of copies worldwide. With his wisdom, Yoganada came and popularized this culture in the West. Not surprisingly, for more than 20 years Yogananda traveled to many cities in the United States holding conferences, until he died in 1952. The project of this documentary in his memory was recorded for three years over nearly 30 different countries, and investigates in depth the world of yoga through interviews, images and metaphors alluding to the recreation of different situations. In addition, it relies on the file on the life of the protagonist.
