Aute Retrato

Documentary about the life of the versatile artist Luis Eduardo Aute. Throughout the entire work, we can see a celebration of Aute's entire trajectory, a trajectory that encompasses various disciplines, such as painting, poetry or music. He also became movie director, and he made amazing productions such as 'El vivo retrato', '¡Arriba Hazaña!' or 'El hombre de moda'. In the documentary, you can also listen to a few songs the artists had made during his life, such as 'Sin tu latido', 'Slowly' or 'Al alba'.

In addition, several of his well-known Spanish friends and personalities appear during the documentary, like Jorge Drexler, Pedro Guerra, Rosa León, Victor Manuel or Dani Martin. Many of them also accompanied him in 2018 at the tribute concert 'Animal Cheer!' at the Wizink Center, and now they return to pay tribute to this octogenarian personality of the art world in his 50 years of musical career. You will also see the impact that several of his most famous songs have had on society and on the lives of these personalities.

The documentary is directed by Gaizka Urresti and is written by Nacho Cabana, Juan Moya and Urresti. Cinematography was made by Pepe Añón. In addition, Luis Eduardo Aute himself has participated in the realization of this work.
