'Atlantic.' trivia and fun facts

The film is the first dramatic feature about a windsurfer crowdfunded on IndieGoGo.com/land.

The movie was an official project of Cinemart of the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2010.

Appearing in the film will be Moroccan wave-windsurfing star Boujmaa Guilloul.

Writer/director Jan-Willem van Ewijk took part in the Sundance lab of 2009 as well as the Binger film lab in Amsterdam.
