Astral

This documentary, which was recorded by Jordi Évole, the director of 'Salvados', the TV program from La Sexta, shows the situation of the refugees who try to travel through the Mediterranean sea in order to get a better life in the European continent. Astral was a sailing boat which belonged to the Italian business man Livio LoMonaco which is become recently into a boat for refugees. The film shows the daily life of the doctors and lifeguards from the NGO Proactiva Open Arms, volunteers which have made possible the rescue of thousands of people.

'Astral' comes to 130 cinemas around Spain in order to make people aware of the bad situation where refugees who start arriving to the coasts of Libia live. The collection of the tickets is allocated to the NGO of the boat.
