Plot

This film presents a new character, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender), a man who, due to the unblocking technology of genetic memories, has access to the memories of his ancestor Aguilar in 15th century Spain and discovers that he is one of the descendants of the Assassins secret brotherhood. As a consequence, the lead character gains the ability of the assassin's master in order to fight against an currently Templar organization.
Justin Kurzel ('Macbeth') directs the film, whose script has been written by Bill Collage ('Exodus: Gods and Kings'), Adam Cooper ('Tower Heist') and Michael Lesslie. The cast is completed by Marion Cotillard (Sophia Rikkin), Javier Gutiérrez (Tomás de Torquemada), Jeremy Irons (Alan Rikkin), Ariane Labed (Maria) and Brendan Gleeson (Joseph).
