Adaptation of the book published by Mikael Lindnord in 2016 and based on a true story, 'Arthur' focuses on Mikael, the leader of a group of athletes who embark on a race that traverses the jungles of Ecuador. However, there will be a surprise guest, a stray dog that will accompany the group on their adventure. Due to the bond formed between the protagonist and the animal, Lindnord will make the decision to adopt his new friend.

Directed by Simon Cellan Jones, a seasoned television director with projects such as 'Generation Kill', 'Treme', both by David Simon, 'Boardwalk Empire', 'Jessica Jones', or 'Years and Years'. However, 'Arthur' is his fourth feature film after 'Some Voices', 'The One & Only', and 'Plan en familia', where he already worked with the star of his new project, Mark Wahlberg. He has led popular action films in recent years thanks to his partnership with Peter Berg, including 'Deepwater Horizon', 'Patriots Day', and 'Spenser: Confidential'.

The cast also includes Nathalie Emmanuel ('Game of Thrones', 'Army of Thieves'), Simu Liu ('Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings', 'Barbie'), Michael Landes ('The Congress', 'Target: Washington D.C.') and Juliet Rylance ('Sinister', 'Frances Ha').
