Arthur Rambo

This drama begins at the moment when a new and mysterious novelist named Karim D (Rabah Nahit Oufella), who the media never tires of writing about, becomes fashionable. No one knows who he really is, although he could be Arthur Rambo, the man responsible for some hate messages that have just been discovered on social networks and which have caused a huge scandal which can destroy his career.

The film was directed by French filmmaker Laurent Cantet who has made films such as 'Journey to Ithaca', 'Writing Workshop' or '7 Days in Havana', and stars Oufella, with whom he had already worked in 2008 with 'Laurent Cantet's Class'. The cast is completed by Biel Chegrani as Farid, Antoine Reinartz as Nicolas, Sofian Khammes as Rachid, Sarah Henochsberg as Léa, Mailika Zerrouki as Karim's mother, Anne Alvaro as Edith, Zineb Triki as Eva Louise, Anaël Snoek as Clio Balan and Leila Fournier as Tania Delcour, among many others. The screenplay is by Cantet himself, Fanny Burdino and Samuel Doux. The latter two had already collaborated on the film 'Carole Matthieu', directed by Louis-Julien Petit. Arthur Rambo' is produced by France 2 Cinéma, Les Films de Pierre, Memento Films Productions and Canal+, and is being distributed in Spain by Golem Films.
