Plot
Documentary that highlights Basque filmmakers from different erasthrough three diving experts (Erea López, Lara Larrañaga, Ainhoa Incógnito) who immerse us in a cinematographic journey directed by women, exploring not only the theme of his films, but also his perspective, his dreams and his valuable contribution to both the art of cinema and society in general.
The behind-the-scenes team, headed by Bertha Gaztelumendi and Rosa Zufía, along with a talented technical and production team, has managed to capture the essence of these filmmakers and their works. From the pioneers to the young promises that emerge in the latest festivals, the documentary offers an intimate and revealing look at the impact and diversity of cinema made by women in the Country Basque and beyond.
The entire filming of the documentary took place in Menorca with the participation of the three divers, nineteen directors, the researcher Pilar Rodriguez and the t-shirts Elorri Arin, Morgane Baud, Ainhoa Etxenik and Ihintza Urtxegi.
With a focus in both Spanish and Basque, the documentary presents a rich variety of voices and perspectives, backed by meticulous technical work and a team committed to every step of the process, from research to post-production . This project not only illuminates the work of these filmmakers, but also highlights the crucial role of women in the film industry and their ability to inspire, challenge and transform audiovisual narrative.
