Plot
Documentary movie about famous violinist Ara Malikian. The versatile musician fled a warzone at fourteen years old and left behind his family in Beirut (Armenia) among the bombs, in order to carve himself out a life in an unknown world with just a violin gifted by his father and he also taught him how to use it. This film directed by Nata Moreno tells the story of the musician and his unquestionable contribution to classical and contemporary music. His wife, Nata Moreno, with whom he shares a son, has decided to embark on this project, five years ago, after receiving 25 boxes that track Ara Malikian's entire career since he was four years old: recordings, photographs, cassettes, super 8 tapes, paintings, books, opera books, prizes and violins. The documentary unites the artist's personal history with his latest Symphony Tour in the best stages of the world, in countries like Spain or France, but also others such as Lebanon, England, Russia, China, Morocco, Uruguay, Argentina, Germany ... On October 6, 2018 he was named adopted son of the city of Zaragoza, where his wife and the director of the documentary was born.
This documentary has been in the official selection of Malaga's Festival and it will be on spanish cinemas since the 24 of October.
