Another World

Philippe is the manager of a large company and has to deal with the pressures of work and, at the same time, take care of his loved ones. However, the differences with his wife are too great to continue together, so they decide to separate. But he also needs to take care of himself. Faced with increasingly contradictory demands from his bosses, Philippe will then have to decide which direction he wants to take in his life.

'Another World' is a French drama film. It has been directed by Stéphane Brizé (?Not here to be loved?, ?A woman?s life?) and written by Brizé along with Olivier Gorce. The two of them worked together on 'The Measure of a Man', also as director/writer and screenwriter, respectively. On the other hand, the film features original music by Camille Rocailleux. On the other hand, the cast includes Vincent Lindon (also worked with the director and screenwriter on 'The Measure of a Man?), Sandrine Kiberlain (worked with Brizé on 'Mademoiselle Cambon'), Anthony Bajon ('The Prayer?), Marie Drucker and Guillaume Draux.

Produced by Nord-Ouest Films, France 3 Cinéma and Canal+. The film received a nomination for the Golden Star at the El Gouna Film Festival (Egypt) and a Golden Lion for Best Film at the Venice International Film Festival.
