Anita Takes a Chance

Ventura Pons tells in 'Anita Takes a Chance' the history of a woman than over thirty years working as a ticket seller in a local cinema, but when the owners of the cinema decide to tear down the old place to build a multiplex cinema is forced to early retirement. When the cinema is ruined Anita is unable to accept it, she is not able to make the change, and still going to the site where the cinema she had devoted her whole life was. It is there where she meets a married man who manages the excavator of the work. Among them will emerge a love story. The film is starring Rosa Maria Sarda and Jose Coronado and got a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay at the Goya Awards 2001.
