Anime Supremacy!

'Anime Supremacy!', film directed by Kôhei Yoshino ('Wednesday Disappears') based on the novel of Mizuki Tsujimura, shows what is hidden behind the succesful productions of the anime films and programs trough the story of Hitomi Saito ('Tatakae!! Cyborg Shibata 3'), a japanese worker from one of the most important animation productions in Japan. The plot starts when Saito is given the direction of the new show called 'Soundback: The Kanade Stone', this is the great opportunity she has been waiting all her life. The magnificent start of Saito in the direction of the show with her huge enthusiasm is cut short by the appearearance of problems in the production team. When things can't go worse, a new program of the same producer comes up 'Fate Front: Lidell-light', directed by the famous leyend of anime Chiharu Oji interpreted by Tomoya Nakamura ('Like father, like son'), will mess up even more the situation.

'Anime Supremacy!''s intention is showing spectators through the life of the anime creators the way of working, the creative process, the competition for the classifications and the passion with which the anime creators have for the industry. Nowadays anime has millions of followers and is a reference for the animation industry all around the world.
